Descriptors is getting a newly revised and expanded second edition!
With over 8 years of feedback, we plan to make Descriptors one of the most fun fiction-first, character arc-driven diceless roleplaying games you’ve ever seen, without convoluting it’s simple, resource-management based mechanics.
The revised core mechanics have already debuted — you can see them on the other pages of this site — and feature clarifications and streamlining that make playing the game even smoother. Where Descriptors Second Edition truly shines, however, will be in the compiled Variations and Realms, as well as new advice for both players and narrators. And we’ve added optional, but fully integrated, dice systems!
